Hello 2011!

Jordan and I had an awesome holiday season! We spent Thanksgiving in Utah with the Webbs, and Christmas in Albuquerque with the Pyeatts! We are looking forward to the New Year! I am in my last semester of Nursing school, and am happy to annouce that I passed my Hesi Exit exam, which means I am even closer to graduation! This semester is super easy in comparison with past semesters. There are two pretty huge projects I will have to complete, and a bunch of busy work, but all in all I think I like busy work more than hours and hours of studying. Jordan is still working for Arthrocare and enjoying his job. He has started taking some evening classes working towards an MBA with an emphasis in international business, he just got called to be second couselor in the Elders Quorum, and to say the least is very busy. We are very excited for what the new year will bring, and look forward to the new adventures of 2011!!!

San Fransico Trip!

So I realize that I still have not been able to get the swing of blogging, seeing how I have not added anything to my blog for about 7 months, but some day once nursing school is over, maybe I will get into it! So basically last summer was a lot of fun, Jordan and I went to Utah, and had a great time with his family, camping, and hanging out. I also this summer had the opportunity to go to Nashville to visit my dear friend vickie from Highschool. We had a blast together. August my little sister got married, and I started back to school. In October Jordan had a conference in San Jose for work, and I flew up at the end of the week, and we hung out in
San Fransico for a few days. It was an absolute blast! Here are some pictures from the trip!

Phoenix Trip

Over Easter weekend Jordan and I went to Phoenix which was a blast. We got there Friday morning and went to the Zoo!

After the Zoo we met up with Laura and her boyfriend Sam. We went to dinner at Fudruckers and then went to a spring training game and watched the Cubs and Diamondbacks play. Unfortunately the Diamondbacks won.

The Next morning was Saturday! We all listened to conference and then went to a second baseball game, and the Cubs won!!!! After the game we ate at a really cool sushi place, and then went to the Easter pageant at the Mesa temple which was an awesome experience!

The Trip was a great weekend get away and hope to be able to go to spring training again next year!

Catch up Post!

So, it has been quite some time since I last posted anything (over a year actually). Today I decided that I wanted to start our blog up again so I am going to try to be better about posting stuff this year. Since it has been such a long time I am going to tell you about the top ten things that we did since the last time I posted!!

1)We Got Married on December 27th 2009 in the Albuquerque temple! It was a bitter cold day, but of coarse amazing. We had a reception in Rio Rancho after the wedding, and then a week later a reception in Spanish Fork. We went to Ouray, Colorado for our honeymoon which was a blast!

2) Jordan started a job with Eli Lilly in Las Cruces, NM, and I started the Nursing program there in January.

3) In March after Jordan completed some training with his company in Indianapolis I flew up and met him in Chicago and I got to meet a ton of people from his mission! It was a total blast.

4) In April we got a puppy!! His name is Tucker!

5) In July we went on a family vacation with the Webbs To Zions National Park. We had a ton of Fun hiking and hanging out with the family!!

6) In July we also got to take a trip to Mexico! This was my first experience out of the country, and we had a great time snorkeling and hanging out at the beach!

7) We also bought our first home in July!! It was absolutely beautiful, however life throws you curve balls and unfortunately we were unable to live in it for as long as we were planning.

8) In August we find out about reorganizations within Jordan's company, and that Jordan may loose his job or be transferred :(. then in November Jordan finds out that he will have to be transferred to a different territory within Eli lilly or Loose his Job. However, During November Jordan is also offered a Job with Smith and Nephew in Albuquerque. So in December we pack up and move out of our beautiful home to Albuquerque. Luckily we were able to find renters right away, that will rent our house out for the next year or so before we sale it.

9) We spent Thanksgiving in Rio Rancho, and Christmas in Spanish Fork! We had a great time during the Holidays with family.

10) We have moved into an apartment here in Albuquerque. Jordan has now started his new job with Smith and Nephew, and has been very busy. I will be continuing the nursing program at an extension NMSU campus in Grants NM next fall! Life is great, and we have been very blessed to have everything work out so perfectly!

Our Story

Jord and I met about 2 and a half years ago. I had just graduated from High school, and my family had just moved to Rio Rancho, NM. It was my first Sunday at the West Mesa Singles Branch. Jordan was in Albuquerque selling security systems. I walked into Sacrament, and I guess Jordan saw me walk in, and knew he wanted to ask me out. I went and sat down with my cousins. Later that Sunday after Sunday school Jordan came up and introduced himself to me. I don't really remember what he said, I just remember that he was wearing a reddish orangish tie, and I was wearing my bright orange graduation dress, and I thought it was kinda funny cuz they both kind of matched his hair. After church that Sunday I got into my car, and drove off, noticing Jordan left about the same time as me, however he says that he did not plan it that way, I totally still think he did. Anyways, I drove off, and while I was stopped at a light he pulled up next to me and signaled to me to roll my window down, so I did. He then asked "Wanna race?" I told him "No way, you would kill me," and so then he said, "well then how about I take you out instead." And thats how it started. Of coarse it would not be until about a year and a half later until we actually went out.
See Jordan asked me out a few times but having just graduated from High School I was just not ready to date a "Return Missionary." Because everyone knows what a return missionary wants. A wife, and a commitment, and I was to young and to say the least immature for anything like that. haha Anyways, so one night he called me up and asked me to go out with him, I agreed to go because of how incredibly cute he was and maybe a return missionary would not be so bad after all. I mean he was actually from Utah and would be returning there at the end of the summer right? So, we decided we would go out, but we would have to wait a week because I was going to Lake Powell the next day for a week. We decided that we would go to breakfast the Monday after I got back. However, it was not until quite a few Mondays later that we would actually go on our first date. While I was gone, Jordan felt quite strongly that he should not continue selling security systems, so the week I was in Lake Powell he actually ended up going home, so when I got back I got a call from him explaining that that he would not be able to take me out because he had gone back to Utah. I did not think to much of it, and for the next year and a half we would talk on and off on the phone and through msn, while we both grew and experienced different things we needed to. Finally, in December 2007 we decided that we should probably go on that first date finally. Jord came down and visited me in Rio Rancho. We continued to stay really good friends and started to date, well as much as was possible due to the fact that we were 12 hours apart. Last summer I went to Florida with him, and was the office manager for his pinnacle security sales office, while he was the lead tech. We got to know each other and date like a normal couple, and we fell in love! Its been an amazing adventure, I have really learned that timing is just as important as anything. And because love may take time, we need to always make time for love. We are getting married on December 27th in the Albuquerque temple where we will be sealed for time and all eternity. I am so excited and feel so blessed. I can't wait to spend eternity with my best friend!!! Until next time adiós!
